One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 1997, with its individual chapters compiled into 107 tankōbon volumes as of November 2023.
The series follows the story of Monkey D. Luffy, a young man who dreams of becoming the Pirate King by finding the titular One Piece, a treasure left behind by the former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, travel across the Grand Line, a vast and dangerous sea, while making friends and enemies along the way.
